Trying to get my mind around global warming - better called "global heating" because "warming" sounds so comfortable. Also known as AGW - key word here is "anthropogenic". There is lots to learn, even if you accept the opinion of 93%, (or is it 97%?), of scientists and scientific organizations. Check out "The Uninhabitable Earth" by David Wallace-Wells.
New concept (it was to me, anyway) is a Global Syndemic - 2 or more pandemics linked in time or place, affecting the same populations, adversely affecting the outcomes of each other, with similar drivers, science, and potential solutions. An example of a syndemic is SAVA (substance abuse, violence, and AIDS) - this latest one is obesity, malnutrition, and climate change.
Also you may want to review your understanding of the Paris Agreement (which superceded the Kyoto Protocol), and then these 2 long complex papers (or the editorials applying to each one) one linking obesity, nutrition, and climate change, the other calling for worldwide adoption of a "healthy diet" (with discussion on impacts on climate, food supply, agricultural sustainability etc):
